Keep all body parts in the pictures! So are you done laughing yet? I must confess that I am a chronic foot chopper. I can't even tell you how many animals I have maimed in this way. This is no laughing matter... at least until Mr. Adobe has an action to correct foot chopping. Jeez, how I have dreamt of that. Umm, never mind. Back to the chopped image, delete it. Unless, it is an Ivory-billed Woodpecker, that picture is not going to make anybody happy. Boys and girls, this is the number one compostion mistake and everyone makes it. You likely don't even know that you do it, but you do. Go ahead, go look at some pictures and see how many are chopped!

Don't worry it is fixable, well in extreme cases at least treatable. First, look in the viewfinder. I know in the heat of the moment things are hectic, but better safe than sorry. Second, is that spiffy zoom lens, zooms for a reason. Don't try to get soo tight in the camera. You can always, crop the image to your taste afterwards. So from now on before you click the shutter release relax, take a peek around the viewfinder and make sure its all there. Got it? Click it!
